Wow what a week and weekend!
I was very lucky to have been given the privilege of styling my Cousin-in-law's secret wedding ceremony and elaborate wedding reception that all took place on Saturday.
Tammy and Juan chose to have an intimate ceremony in front of 35 family members held in my parents in-law's gorgeous backyard in North Beach. So it was game on with all the planning from the minute Tam & Choc had decided the finer details.
Of course Di (my mother-in-law) and I went over the top re-arranging the whole backyard to prepare for this special day. Di ordered in 60 pots of white petunias which graced the already lush garden beds. Barry (my ever obliging father-in-law) was our go to man! Shifting and lifting, fixing pavers, laying lawn where we moved a step to accommodate the white carpet and any other "little/big" job we would ask. It really was a family affair with my Husband Chad helping paint chairs, lug boxes to and fro and sticking signage to telegraph poles on West Coast Drive! Sister-in-law Melissa baked the divine little cupcakes you will see in the dessert bar pictures and Brother-in-law Mitch let us girls take over their house to make ourselves look glamorous with Julie styling Tam's hair and super talented Ady from arousal and design styling us all with her fabulous make-up range.
Whitford Marquee and Party Hire supplied the silk lined wedding pavilion and Hendie's supplied the plush white carpet. A mix of eclectic and antique chairs in black, rustic gold, wicker and cream lined the carpet with a delicate hedge of lemon, white and ivory rose petals forming the path for Tammy and Juan to walk down.
Petite posies of fresh blooms with lengths of organza, Ric-Rac, hessian, grosgrain and gingham ribbons adorned the chairs, white fans and parasols were available for guests and a beverage station was a hit in the 42 degree heat!
Hanging vases decorated the wedding pavilion and a cut crystal vase had prime position on the signing table- filled with ivory and white David Austin Roses.
Tin buckets full of fresh yellow, ivory, white and a touch of blue blooms graced the front steps to the the house, where an excited Juan waited for Tammy to arrive.
Moet flowed to toast the newly weds. Home made treats of  Di's mini pumpkin scones filled with smoked salmon, mascarpone and dill, Nannie's famous cheese straws sat in a cute collection of jars and Robbie's (Mother of Bride) yummy cucumber rounds were enjoyed by all!
The amazing Sarah Kate Dorman was taking divine photos, check out her pretty new website and get a sneak peak of our beverage table styling. You can also head over to see a glamorous pic of Tammy and Juan  on Sarah Kate Dorman's Facebook page. I can't wait to see and share more of her amazing work!
My lovely talented friend Nat at dizzy wizzy design created a stylish invitation set and all the fun signage for Tammy and Juan's special day. She even popped past on the day and helped secure the signage at Soda!
SodaSunlounge hosted the cocktail party and once again we got to style our hearts out! A big Thank you to the ever accommodating team at Soda and the wonderful Bridget! The night was a perfect balmy summer's night and the guests took full advantage of the amazing sunset and picturesque location above the beach. Here are some shots taken by the talented Thomas Roy Davidson.
Thank you to our team of talented florists, Rose Posy, Jan, Tahnee and Selena! who pulled together an amazing set up in record time while I got to be a guest and enjoy the beautiful ceremony and fun reception! To see more of this special day visit page 2 of our wedding gallery
